Deep within each of us resides a largely unexplored potential—a potential waiting to be activated, unleashing our most creative and fulfilled selves. A potential that can only be tapped into through surrender. This retreat is your gateway to understanding every facet of rest, from the physical to the mental, social, shamanic, emotional, and creative.
Dear reader, here’s the story behind this retreat:
Back in 2022 - right after the epidemic ended - I found myself unable to continue at the same pace as I was hustling in before the lockdown started.
After a thread of strange little physical ailments, I was diagnosed with something called ‘overspannen’ in Dutch (a pre-burnout) and it took me at least 6 months to recover & learn how to actively nourish my nervous system again whilst navigating work, my social life and eventually, I was able to re-locate my creativity and life-force.
During my recovery I found out quite literally everyone in my surroundings has similar stories of overwhelm or burn-out. It felt like a silent epidemic I had started to uncover. We are tired.
I realized that there are very few spaces in which we actively practice to rest (besides for when we sleep) and it’s making us feel like machines, needing the weekend to restore from the working week and do it all over again next Monday.
This online retreat is born from the need to restore our nervous systems, and I promise, by the end of this retreat, you'll see life with a fresh perspective

This is not a call to action, but a call to rest.
Rather than immediately bombarding you with statistics about how tired we all feel, let’s take a deep breath together. In that slow exhale, notice how you create space in your lungs. It's a simple reminder that solutions to our constant busyness can be just as straightforward.
Many of us have forgotten the art of deep breathing and self-care. We were never truly taught these essential practices in a world that constantly demands motion, leaving us longing for balance—a life of quality over quantity.
Now, some eye-opening statistics:
Age and Burnout
Nearly half (48%) of 18-to-29-year-olds feel drained, compared to 40% of those aged 30 and up. Women (46%) report higher burnout levels than men (37%). (Source: CNBC)
Global Workplace Burnout:
A 2022 survey of 15,000 workers across 15 countries by McKinsey Health found that a quarter of employees experienced burnout symptoms.
Work-Related Stress Impacts:
According to the American Psychological Association’s 2021 Work and Wellbeing Survey, 3 in 5 workers reported negative mental and physical impacts due to work-related stress. This included a lack of interest, motivation, or energy (26%), emotional exhaustion (32%), and high levels of physical fatigue (44%).

Each recorded masterclass takes between 45 minutes and 1,5 hours. And even though you have 1 full month to watch (and re-watch) them at your very own pace, I would recommend to carve out a few evenings for yourself to dedicate yourself to rest. See where this would fit best in your planning!
